Imagine your OTP going to an amusement park together. Bonus: one of them is scared of the rollercoaster but goes on it anyway and has to hold the other’s hand through the whole thing.

“Uhh… Why don’t we go on that ride, Tetsu?”
“… Aomine-kun… You want to go on ‘It’s a small world’?”
“…”
“… I thought so.” Kuroko said as he dragged an unwilling Aomine to the line where the roller coaster was. “Don’t tell me you’re afraid, Aomine-kun.”
“… No.” Aomine said, a little hesitant at first but refusing to show his weakness.
“… We can go on the merry-go-” Kuroko was cut off when Aomine tugged him to wait in line.
Kuroko hid a laugh while Aomine wondered if this was a good idea.

This was definitely a bad idea.
Was what Aomine thought as he stiffly got into the roller coaster. Kuroko entered after him and pulled the belt close and tight over their laps. The fair bluenette noticed his partner being very stiff and tilted his head. “Aomine-kun, are you alright?”
Aomine was not alright. But he wasn’t going to say that to Tetsu. He still had his pride to hold on, thank you very much.
“I’m fine.” Aomine said firmly but Kuroko had detected a slight falter in his normally rough tone.
Before Kuroko could say anything else, the ride jolted to life and Aomine would’ve jumped out as soon as he could if it wasn’t for the belt holding him down. And so.
Up the coaster went.
And down went Aomine’s blood flow.
Kuroko was now worried when he noticed how pale Aomine was.
“Aomine-kun.” Kuroko called but Aomine was too petrified to answer. Kuroko grabbed the tanned teen’s hand and squeezed, bringing Aomine out of his petrified state. Kuroko smiled reassuringly at him. “It’ll be okay.”
Aomine’s eyes softened and nodded. “Right, Tetsuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
What luck Aomine had, when the roller coaster went down as soon as he was talking.

Kuroko cradled his hand as he watched Daiki throw up into a nearby garbage bin as soon as they got off the ride. Other visitors of the park watched worried while kids pointed and laughed. Aomine groaned and breathed deeply. He took a glance at Kuroko and looked guiltily at the hand he was cradling.
“Sorry… ‘bout your hand…” He apologized.
Kuroko shook his head. “It’s fine. It was my fault in the first place for provoking you.” He said as he dug into his bag. Pulling out a water bottle, he handed it to Aomine who greatfully accepted it.
“Well.. It’s my fault for not backking down and stuff…” Aomine mumbled as he took a drink. He sighed and thought back to that embarrassing scream he made when the coaster went down.
“I don’t think of you any less just because you’re scared of roller coasters, Aomine-kun.”
Aomine blinked repeatedly as he turned to Kuroko who was smiling. He felt blood rise to his cheeks and turned away with a ‘hmph’. Kuroko chuckled and Aomine smiled slightly at the sound. Quietly, he took Kuroko’s red and and gently held it.
“Let’s go try some booths this time.”
